Located a stone’s throw from Sandton, this renovation creates a modern family home out of a modest bungalow

BEFORE

Due to its close proximity to the Sandton CBD,  these homeowners chose to add an additional story to their single-story home to cater for their growing family rather than move to a larger home. The renovation comprises of a new first floor that houses bedrooms and a PJ lounge, with the ground floor reconfigured to include a staff accommodation, guest bedroom, playroom, lounge, dining room and a breakfast room. A new entrance was also introduced as the existing front door was  hidden, having little presence.
